Question

Given an array with n objects colored red, white or blue, sort them in-place so that objects of the same color are adjacent, with the colors in the order red, white and blue.

Here, we will use the integers 0, 1, and 2 to represent the color red, white, and blue respectively.

Note: You are not suppose to use the library’s sort function for this problem.

Example:

Input: [2,0,2,1,1,0]
Output: [0,0,1,1,2,2]

(Here, the distance between two points on a plane is the Euclidean distance.)

You may return the answer in any order. The answer is guaranteed to be unique (except for the order that it is in.)

Question

A subarray A[i], A[i+1], …, A[j] of A is said to be turbulent if and only if:

For i <= k < j, A[k] > A[k+1] when k is odd, and A[k] < A[k+1] when k is even;
OR, for i <= k < j, A[k] > A[k+1] when k is even, and A[k] < A[k+1] when k is odd.
That is, the subarray is turbulent if the comparison sign flips between each adjacent pair of elements in the subarray.
